In 2013, 2014 and 2016 was an MiLB.com Organization All-Star...was a Baseball America Class AA All-Star in 2014 and Class AAA All-Star in 2016...in 2014 was named to the Arizona Fall League's All-Prospects team...in 2013 received the Branch Rickey Award as the Dodgers' Minor League Player of the Year...was Pacific Coast League Player of the Week for 6/16-6/22, 2015 and California League Player of the Week for 7/2-7/8, 2013...at Cedar Rapids (IA) Prairie High School played baseball, football, basketball and soccer while setting school track records in the 55-meter sprint, long jump and 800-meter relay...in 2010 spent 1 season at Des Moines Area Community College in 2010, where he was a second-team National Junior College Athletic Association All-American, Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Year, first-team ICCAC All-Region and All-North Plain District...that season led DMACC in hitting (.446), runs scored (81), HR (20), slugging percentage (.877) and walks (30) while ranking second in hits (91), doubles (22), triples (3) and RBI (82).

At Louisville was a Baseball America Class AAA All-Star and MiLB.com Organization All-Star and for the Reds made 39 starts in RF, 17 starts in CF and 9 starts in LF...among National League rookie batters ranked eighth in hitting, T7th in RBI, T8th in multi-hit games (18) and T1st in outfield assists (5)...after he was promoted on 8/2, following Jay Bruce's trade to the Mets, became the club's primary right fielder (55g, 56-193, .290, 7 2b, 1 3b, 8hr, 32rbi)...in his last 44 apps of the season beginning 8/15 hit .329 (51-155, 6 2b, 1 3b, 7hr, 28rbi)...was on the Reds' Opening Day roster and hit .175 in 26 apps and 14 starts until he was optioned to Louisville on 5/8, when OF Kyle Waldrop was promoted...in 75 apps for the Bats hit .311 (13hr, 43rbi) before he was promoted again on 8/2 following the Bruce trade...in his first appearance following the Bruce trade, a 7-5 win on 8/2 vs StL, produced 3 hits and 3 RBI, both career highs, and his first career walkoff HR (3-run off Seung Hwan Oh)...in the 3-2 win on 4/6 vs Phi, the second game of the season, had a game-ending, 2-run double off Dalier Hinojosa...in the 13-0 win on 8/27 at Ari produced his first career 2-homer game and a career-high 5 RBI...walked twice in Jake Arrieta's no-hitter (4/21 vs Cubs, 16-0 loss)...in the 6-5 win on 5/1 at Pit, came off the bench to give the Reds their 5-4 lead with an RBI-double in the ninth inning and their decisive 6-5 lead with an RBI-double in the 11th...in 8/15 vs Mia homered off David Phelps to snap a career-high 0-for-28 skid, tying Eugenio Suarez for the longest drought by a Reds batter all season...was International League Batter of the Week for 6/13-6/19 (.318, 2hr, 9rbi, 15xbh, 18tb)...was International League Player of the Month for July after leading the league in hits, extra-base hits, triples, total bases, slugging percentage and OPS...on 7/26 vs Charlotte hit for the cycle, the second of his minor league career (6/1/14 for Chattanooga vs Mobile) and the first by a Bats player since Chris Dickerson on 7/26/07.

2015

Spent most of last season with the Dodgers' affiliate in Oklahoma City, his first action at Class AAA, and in 121 apps produced 13 homers, 50rbi and 15 stolen bases...also made his Major League debut with 3hr and 4rbi in just 19g for LAD...began the season with OKC and was promoted on 6/5...debuted that night vs StL with a start in LF and in his first career plate appearance singled off Carlos Martinez...returned to Oklahoma City the next day and spent the rest of the minor league season there...rejoined the Dodgers as a September callup...on 9/4 at SD hit his first home run (solo off James Shields) and collected his first stolen base...became only the second Dodgers batter since 1914 to produce a homer and stolen base in the same game within his first 3 career games (Jose Offerman, 8/19/90)...on 9/9 at LAA led off the game with a homer off Garrett Richards...with 2 outs in the eighth inning on 9/14 vs Col hit a 2-run HR off Miguel Castro that extended LAD's lead to the 4-1 final score...while at OKC missed 12 days in July with a sprained ligament in his right hand...entered the season rated the eighth-best prospect in the Dodgers's organization.

2014

Batted .280 and led the Southern League in triples (14), homers (28) and slugging percentage (.556) in 135 games with Double-A Chattanooga...Also ranked among Southern League leaders in runs (82, 3rd), RBI (73, T-4th) and hits (137, 5th)...Was the Dodger Pride Award recipient for the month of April after driving in 16 runs and clubbing five homers in 25 games...Named a Southern League mid- and post-season All-Star and a Baseball America Double-A classification All-Star…also selected as a MiLB. com organization All-Star...Posted a .310 average (25-for-89) with five homers and 13 RBI in 23 games with the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League and named to the All-Prospect Team

Honored as the Dodgers' Branch Rickey Minor League Player of the Year after batting .296 with 27 homers and 91 RBI in 125 games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga and leading the California League in extra-base hits (69) and total bases (277)...Ranked among California League leaders in home runs (27, 2nd), slugging percentage (.581, 2nd), runs scored (95, 4th), triples (13, 2nd) and had the third best home run to at-bat ratio, hitting a home run every 17.67 at-bats…led Rancho Cucamonga in RBI and home runs...Also chosen as the Dodger Pride Award winner for the Quakes for June after batting .341 (29-for-85) with six homers and 17 RBI in 22 June games, ranking among the California League leaders in batting aver (9th), homers (T-6th), extra-base hits (14, T-9th) and slugging percentage (.647, 5th)...Selected as the Dodger Pride Award winner for Rancho Cucamonga for July after batting .348 (40-for-115) in 29 games in the month…honored as California League Player of the Week, July 1-7...Named to the California League Postseason All-Star Team
